The Story of the Dalmatian is the book that I read. The author that wrote the book's name is Jennifer Quasha. Dalmatians were helpful to firefighters. A long time ago in England around 1600s, fire trucks were pulled by horse carriages carrying tanks filled with water. Dalmatians helped fire brigades by barking to clear the way. (A brigade is a group of people working together for the same cause.)Dalmatians don't just star in movies, they also star in the circus. Some dalmatians learn to climb ladders. They can also jump over sticks and walk on tightropes with some training. This book gives a lot of infomation about dalmatians. You should read it!
